Jedward music keeps cows happy
A DAIRY farmer from Dorset claims milk production on his farm has increased dramatically since he started playing the music of X-factor finalists John and Edward to his cows.
Jozef Andrezejk and Tomas Piotr, herdsmen at the Beaminster farm, told the Dorset Echo the music was keeping their cows happy and improving milk yields.
Mr Andrezejk said previous attempts to play classical music had little effect, but when a clip of John and Edward – dubbed Jedward – came on the radio it had a remarkable effect on the cows.
Clips of the Irish twins signing is now being played over a loudspeaker in the parlour and has boosted production on the farm.
“When our cows are happy cows then so are we. So we voted for Jedward for the sake of our herd,” said Mr Piotr.
“We have also downloaded the X Factor charity single performed by all the finalists and are now playing it to the herd.”

I’m fed up with talking about the weather, but I can console myself with the fact we have grabbed every opportunity so far and progress is not too bad.
