Police warning over counterfeit pesticides
POLICE have issued a warning to farmers to be on the alert for counterfeit pesticides after it was revealed potentially dangerous fakes were being imported into Europe.
Suffolk police said counterfeiters are using well known brand names including Granstar, Harmony, Score, Reglone, Gaucho, Prestige, Raxil and Nurelle.
The products are then distributed throughout Europe including the UK to unsuspecting parties who believe the pesticides to be genuine.
A police statement said the chemicals that are being distributed are ‘untested, unsafe and potentially hazardous’ and warned farmers against buying from anywhere other than their usual reputable source.

I’m fed up with talking about the weather, but I can console myself with the fact we have grabbed every opportunity so far and progress is not too bad.
