New venue and date for Kenilworth Show

THE Kenilworth Show is moving to a new site and will be held on a new date this year.

It will take place on a 20-hectare (50-acre) site directly opposite the main entrance of the National Agricultural Centre, Stoneleigh, having been staged at Hurst Farm, Crackley Lane, near Kenilworth, for the past 10 years.

The new date is Saturday, June 5. It will be the first time the show, which has been held annually by The Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society since 1944, will have been held on a Saturday, as it has traditionally been held on the first Sunday in June.

Cynthia Mold, chairwoman of the organising committee, said she was confident switching the date would help attract even more visitors and that the new venue would also prove to be popular. She said the previous site was unavailable this year.
