Lexus RX450H
FOUR years after Lexus’ RX400H broke cover with its innovative hybrid drive, the Japanese maker has moved up a gear with second generation hybrid drive for the new RX450H.

Instead of using supplementary electric motor power to boost the performance of the petrol engine, the RX 450h is a full hybrid, capable of operation in both petrol and electric modes, or in a combination of both.
There’s now a 10 per cent increase in power and a 28 per cent reduction in fuel consumption. Total available power is now 295hp, the combined fuel cycle is an impressive 44.8mpg and emissions are down at 148g/km.
