We operated the steel tine conditioner at its higher speed of 900rpm, but if working with leafy crops the speed can be reduced to 600rpm by altering the gears.
To set the distance between the baffle plate and tines just alter the screw adjuster in the middle of the mower.

Operators can choose to spread the grass the full width of the mower or leave it in a swath.
You can use the knife change pry bar to go through the eyelet nut’s which need to be loosened for setting the swath width from 0.9m to 2.0m.
Personally I would prefer a simple handle rather than the eyelet.
