Karat cultivator supercedes Thorit
LEMKEN'S replacement for its Thorit cultivator is the Karat – a three row, tined implement developed for mixing trash and stubble residues, in working widths from 3-6m in rigid, hydraulic folding and semi-mounted formats.
Showing at LAMMA, it features a quick-change frog assembly that allows entire point and wing assemblies to be quickly swapped without tools.

Lemken says that keeping two sets – perhaps a narrow point version for deep loosening and a wide winged version for shallow working – extends the versatility of the Karat cultivator.
Available with shear bolt and auto reset leg protection, the implement has been designed with a symmetrical tine pattern with generous spacing, to encourage trash to mix and flow through beneath the chassis.
Prices start at £4508 for the 3m version.
