Bursaries available for agriculture postgraduates
NFU Mutual is again offering financial support to agricultural students looking to begin a postgraduate course later this year.
The Centenary Award will give annual bursaries which pay up to 75 per cent of course fees for selected students in agriculture who are starting a postgraduate course (Masters or PhD) in autumn 2012.
It is open to UK students who have gained, or are expected to gain, a 2:1 or above in agriculture or a closely-related degree, and have been accepted on a UK Masters or PhD course in agriculture.
The award’s judging panel will be looking for applicants who are ‘excellent academic performers and who are committed to the future of agriculture.’
The closing date for applications is April 30, 2012.
