YFC AGM 2011: FG t-shirts raise £1,000 for charity
THE Young Farmers joined forces with Farmers Guardian to raise £1,000 for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute (RABI).
Members rose to the challenge and did not need asking twice to donate £1 in exchange for one of FG’s 1,000 t shirts which were printed exclusively for the AGM weekend.
As predicted, it was a cause close to the hearts of young farmers and the final herculean sum was testament to the commitment to fundraising causes across the country.
It took just three hours for members to donate their money for t shirts, as they swamped the FG stand this afternoon (Friday May 6).

BETTER late than never is a phrase which seems oddly appropriate when applied to British farming at the moment.
