£2,000 bid tops Society sale
A TOTAL of 15 dogs sold to a top of £2,000 – averaging £1,063 – at Tomatin Sheepdog Society’s sale at Lairgandour, courtesy of Daviot Farms.
Stuart Grant, of Strathcannaird, sold his five-year-old Jen for £2,000 to Ken Fraser, Gorthleck, Inverness, while Michael McKenzie, Conon Bridge, paid £1,900 to Wendy Irvine, of Lairg, for her 10-month-old Gael.
George Dey, of Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, made £1,600 for two-and-a-half-year-old Cap, from Allan MacDonald, of Fearn.
