Rural issues TV debate postponed
A LIVE TV debate on rural issues has been postponed until after the general election.
The one-hour show, ‘What is life in Rural Britain really like?’ was due to be broadcast this Monday (May 1), but has now been put back to date, which has yet to be announced.
Executive producer, Sarah Chase, says broadcasting the show after the election would prompt a stronger emphasis on rural manifestos in the post-election context.
A selection of guests and experts has been lined up to represent different aspects of rural life and it will allow viewers to call in with questions on their key issues of interest.
It will be shown on Rural TV, a satellite channel available on Sky 279 and Freesat 403.
