Working together to improve farm safety
AGRICULTURE is one of the most dangerous industry in the UK.
In the 10 years from 2000 to 2010, 455 people died in accidents on British farms and 1,700 were seriously injured.
In any given year there are almost 50 preventable deaths and many more avoidable accidents.
In recognition of this fact, Farmers Guardian is working with a number of organisations from across the industry to provide farmers with practical advice on how to reduce the risks on farm making it a safer place for farmers, their employees and any visitors.

Sir, your picture shows two people on the roof, no youngmans, no hard hats, no hi viz jackets, and I don't see a ladder about to get down.
