GAINING knowledge has never been easier thanks to a new service allowing farmers to listen to information instead of music in their tractors or cars.
Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales is offering farmers and students the chance to download two of its most popular information booklets as audiobooks in English and Welsh.
HCC’s Practical Sheep Nutrition booklet and Lameness fact sheet are now available as MP3’s that people can listen to in their tractors or on their Ipods.
If the pilot project is successful there are plans to make more publications available.
The audiobooks are available to download from the HCC website at http://www.hccmpw.org.uk/publications/audiobooks or can be placed on a CD and sent to farmers on request by contacting HCC on 01970 625050.
