Potato vodka wows San Francisco judges
A POTATO drink with one hell of a kick. That is what captured the attention, and tickled the tastebuds, of the judges in the San Francisco Spirits competition, who awarded William Chase the trophy for the World’s Best Vodka.
Herefordshire farmer and the creator of Tyrells crisps, William Chase, began making his exclusive English potato vodka in 2004 from potatoes grown on his farm.
It has subsequently turned into a £40million premium brand.
