New chief exec for Countryside Alliance
THE new chief executive of the Countryside Alliance and The Countryside Alliance Foundation is Alice Barnard, the alliance’s regional director for the past three years.
She joined the Cambridgeshire county committee while at university and is a former master of the Cambridge University Drag Hounds. She started hunting at the age of nine and hunted with the High Peak Hunt in Derbyshire while growing up. She now hunts in Leicestershire.
Alice, 33, who is married with one daughter, worked in London for seven years in corporate sales, culminating in the launch of a ‘start up’ company with two partners specialising in sales generation for blue chip companies and has travelled extensively in Europe and the USA managing client portfolios.
She takes up her new post on Monday, October 4.
