CELEBRITY farmer Jimmy Doherty has released a video ahead of Open Farm Sunday encouraging people to go along to local farms and find out more about how food is produced.
The video, released ahead of Sunday’s (June 13) open days at farms up and down the country sees Jimmy take some children around his farm and show them what goes on.
Similar scenes will be played out at farms across the UK on Sunday in what has become one of the industry’s biggest events for engaging with the public.
Over 450 farms will open their gates for the day, hoping to beat last year’s overall attendance of 140,000 visitors over the day.
