Geli Aur student crowned Student of the Year
The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’s Student of the Year award for 2010 has been won by Angharad Haf James, of Castell Du, Llanwnen, Ceredigion, a student at Carmarthenshire’s Coleg Sir Gâr, Gelli Aur campus.
She was chosen from three entrants for the award, one a fellow student at Coleg Sir Gâr and the other a student at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor, Glynllifon.
The award is open to candidates who have completed NVQ Level III or BTEC ND/NC, C and G certificate/diploma courses in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal nursing, horse management, countryside management or other land-based management courses.
