Churches get behind Arthur Rank Sunday
Churches nationwide are supporting the Arthur Rank Centre with special prayers on Sunday June 20.
‘Arthur Rank Centre Sunday’ is an opportunity to celebrate the work of the Christian charity and new readings and prayers for the occasion are available on the charity’s website arthurrankcentre.org.uk.
Pam Rhodes, presenter of Songs of Praise and an enthusiastic supporter of the charity, said: “ARC Sunday is the day for spreading the message about this great little charity and praying for its work.
“Church and faith in the countryside are such vital sources of hope and light, of support and encouragement, for so many people.”
Special prayers, sermon materials and other practical aids to help churches incorporate ARC Sunday into their worship are now on the ARC website: arthurrankcentre.org.uk or by email from info@arthurrankcentre.org.uk.
