Tillage Live 2011: Sideways press wheel adjustment from Cousins
COUSINS showed off its V-Form cultivator with its unique press wheels which can be adjusted sideways so they follow the legs.
This 3m working width machine can be used with large tines for sub-soiling, or smaller tines for rape seed establishment using the Terracast V2 seeding unit. Leg spacings are 500mm to 550mm.
The press wheel packer can also be retro fitted to other makes of machine.
A five leg machine with the Terracast V2 unit retails at £15,820, rising to £18,140 for a seven leg version.
