Precision Farming: Weighlog accurately measures telehandler payload
USING the latest colour touch-screen technology, British electronics manufacturer RDS has developed a new on-board weighing device for telehandlers.
Called the Weighlog 10, the system uses up to four pressure sensors in a telehandler’s hydraulic system to accurately measure bucket payload through the lift cylinders and compensation ram.
The control box allows the operator to enter a target weight, with the total decreasing each time the bucket is emptied. It costs £1,600.
