Precision Farming: GPS and sprayer function in one box
HOUSEHAM’S latest spray controller combines GPS and sprayer functions in one box.
Called Version 3, it is an expandable platform, says the firm, which uses a large, colour touch screen.
Operators can retrofit the system to older sprayers, and Househam says it will be the standard controller for its current range of self-propelled sprayers.
The touch screen control box also includes telematics capability, recording the sprayer’s working data and it highlights the machine’s service requirements as they become due.

News that land is expected to reach almost £50,000/hectare (£20,000/acre) by 2020 is a double-edged sword for the farming industry – and for our PR beyond it.
