Knoll Tawi-Twin Revolution baler

THIS modified MF 1839 baler was without doubt the most unusual machine at the show.

Called the Tawi-Twin Revolution, it is claimed to be the very first integrated rectangular baler/wrapper.

The result of 18 months of development by Dutch engineering company Knoll, the prototype features two rear wrapping units. In operation, these extend to the side to increase the road transport width from 2.6 to 3.5m.

Capable of baling and wrapping up to 150 bales an hour, the company plans to bring it to Lamma 2011.

When it does go on sale it is likely to cost between €75,000-€100,000.
