Lamma: Ryetec offers high capacity grain transfer system
Ryetec is to import the Canadian-developed RemVac high capacity grain transfer system, offering outputs of up to 280 tonnes/hour.
Using a tractor with a minimum of 180hp, the vacuum fan draws grain through a 15m long pipe into a hopper, which is emptied using a 5m high discharge auger.
Longer suction pipe sections can be added to suit remotely located buildings, grain bin installations and temporary storage solutions, but at the expense of transfer rates, says Ryetec.
