Lamma: JCB adds another Loadall
JCB’s 527-58 Loadall is the firm’s first full sized handler to get a hydrostatic transmission.
Its 2.7 tonne, 5.8m lift capability puts it alongside the physically larger but more conventionally driven 526 model.
However, the newcomer’s revised component packaging means it benefits from a lower overall height and narrower width – it’s less than 2m x 2m. Shod on 380/75 R20 tyres, ground clearance is reduced to just 300mm.
Power comes from JCB’s Dieselmax engine, rated at 100hp and options include SRS boom suspension, air conditioning and trailer hitch.
