New badger group unites against culling
A NEW group opposed to the badger cull planned for parts of West Wales has held its first public meeting.
‘Save the Badger’ spokesman John Evans said the group aimed to present a united front against the ‘cruel’ Welsh Assembly plans.
Speaking after the inaugural Llantrisant meeting, he said the public was not aware of the scale of the cull, which would kill badgers ‘in their thousands’.
“We need to unite to show the people of Wales there is so much opposition to this from so many organisations with all kinds of interests, but on one issue we all unite – we want to stop the cull of badgers in Wales,” said Mr Evans.
“We will stay within the law and believe we have the public behind us.”

We are urgently developing research requirements with other European laboratories to make sure we understand and the disease (Schmallenberg) better.

As regards the killing of Badgers it is no suprise to me .Farming for meat and milk is a cruel industry and also it is no suprise that the conservatives support it. They like the meat producers belong to a more primitive past Never mind the world will eventually grow up and become a more civilized place.

if cattle were given an antidote to tb, then t.b. would sooner or later die out, with no loss to cattle, and hopefully not too many deaths to our badgers

I am roughy against culling. As why risk lifes for others? Badgers are one of Gods ceations, why kill them? To me they should bring out a jab'medical medicine to help cattle from getting the disease. I'm looking for good for and against arguments to help with my casestudy at college, and i'm finding it difficult to find good arguments.

This near enough the same argument with the fox hunting story. I am majorly against both, I believe that really anything to do with animal killing should maybe be banned. But its only my opinoin really.
