Princess Anne to visit Great Yorkshire show

During the visit she will meet visitors, staff and exhibitors and also be given a tour of the showground.

Welcoming news of the royal visit, show director Bill Cowling said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming Princess Anne in July. She is well known as a huge supporter of rural life and her interest and knowledge of all things equine is renowned.

“I am sure she will have a super time with us, and her visit will give an extra reason to come to what is England’s premier show.”
