New president for NFU Cymru
New NFU Cymru president is Meirionnydd beef and sheep farmer Ed Bailey, the union’s vice-president for the past four years.
Taking over that role with more than 50 per cent of the votes on the first ballot is Pembrokeshire dairy farmer Stephen James.
