Farm celebrity Jimmy Doherty expects first child
BRITAIN’S favourite celebrity farmer Jimmy Doherty and his wife Michaela are expecting their first child.
Jimmy, 34, met Michaela Furney, 32, when filming the hit BBC TWO show Jimmy’s Farm which tracked Jimmy as he built up a rare-breed pig farm and farm shop near Ipswich in Suffolk.
The couple, who married last August, expect their first child to be born just in time for Jimmy’s Harvest Festival which takes place in September.
Jimmy said: “We’re delighted to announce that we’re expecting our first child. It’s fantastic for any child to grow up on a farm. I myself would have loved it.”
