The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) is one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK, with a philosophy of Fun, Learning and Achievement.
Young Farmers’ Clubs (YFC)
- Led by young people, for young people
- There are 662 Young Farmers’ Clubs in England and Wales
- It supports young people in agriculture
- Anybody living, working or interested in the countryside can join
- There are 25,000 members aged 10-26
- Each club offers a unique opportunity to meet new friends, develop skills and leadership, work within local communities, travel abroad and participate within a vast competitions programme
National office
- The organisation’s activities are governed by the national council (NFYFC), who are elected by members and supported by a board of management.
- The national office is also supported by a number of steering groups, each with a specialist area and specific objective
- These groups take responsibility for competitions, events, agriculture and rural affairs and personal development
- The Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) operate independently from Scotland and Wales, although embrace the same principles

The AGM
- The annual general convention is the biggest three-day, social event of the year.
- It takes place over three days at a different venue each year
- It stages national competition finals, live bands, debates and fundraising activities
- Each year there is a fancy dress theme, held on Saturday night
- Around 5,000 members attend
- The Adventurer is the first official digital edition dedicated to the Young Farmers’ AGM.
