Argentina reports high prices at Liniers
Prices hitherto unheard of were being paid in the massive Liniers market last week. Prime yearlings touching US$1.80/kg (£1.15/kg) - nearly double November’s price. Retail prices increased a month ago and now cattle markets are reflecting it. Only 7,700 head were forward compared with the usual 12,500-14,000.
