Another term for First Milk chairman ?

FIRST Milk chairman Bill Mustoe, widely acknowledged as having masterminded a turnaround in the co-op’s fortunes, has confirmed he would stay on for another ‘stint’ if that was the wish of the membership.

Putting to rest any speculation, Mr Mustoe told this week’s agm and conference in Kendal, his three year term would expire next year but that the board had already addressed the future possibilities.

“I am having great fun and have made many great friends among farmers. I would consider it an honour,” said Mr Mustoe.

  • "Having great fun" Best keep him on then. Pretty much sums up the attitude of the people who run and have ran First Milk IMHO.
He should remember whilst he is having fun members are struggling badly.

  • Some would say they are struggling a lot less than they were under the previous management team!!! - I think what he means is that he is enjoying the challenge!! Im sure that without his prompt and decisive action FM would be no more!!

  • And if FM were no more some would say we'd all be better off. Perhaps if they could stop enjoying themselves they could concentrate on the job in hand.
