Double for Team Harvey

TEAM Harvey rounded off a great week by winning the Oggy Oggy Intermediate championship with the stunning six-year-old, bay gelding, Paschal High Flyer ridden by Martin Skelton, who was having his last ride in intermediate classes.

He was awarded 59 out of 60 for his show by judge Amanda Nicol, who said she had rarely given such a high mark in the past.

The pair had already finished third in the small hack class earlier in the week and will concentrate on hack classes next season.

The small intermediate section went to the ultra consistent Mountcaulfield Freedom, ridden by Lucy Day and produced by Kim and Kevin Roberts.

He was the winner of this class in 2006 and the winner of the 148cm show pony class here last year.

However, after his misdemeanour in the championship, the reserve title was awarded to the second in his class, Farancella Valencia and Elizabeth Cross.
