BSF2012: A word from the NBA
The National Beef Association is YOUR organisation, designed to support the UK beef industry and all within it.

Membership money is dedicated to providing for the beef sector, and includes the work NBA does in maintaining close relationships with Defra and the devolved Governments, doing whatever possible to reduce the regulation that restricts the industry.
For example, current target areas include mitigating the impact of the proposed CAP reform, fighting for a way forward on TB and ensuring the Government sticks to its promises regarding reduction of red tape.
The NBA want to see the decline in suckler cow numbers stop, by ensuring beef farmers get a fair return for the beef they produce, and are also recognised for their vital contribution to the environment, the landscape, the economy and rural communities.
The NBA is the only dedicated voice for UK beef farmers and the only farmer-organisation to fully represent England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland – and membership starts at only £50 a year.
In addition to a subscription to the renowned Beef Farmer magazine, NBA members also get two weekly e-newsletters, packed full of beef pricing information and forecasts, the latest from beef processors, updates on Government policy work and all the news and technical industry information beef farmers need to stay ahead of the game.
