Bomford looks forwards
A raft of innovations on display at LAMMA from Bomford Turner included a front mounted version of the Kestrel reach arm mower, designed for use with larger tractors of 150hp.
Easily fitted to a front linkage and powered either via the front pto or spool valves, the 5m reach Kestrel can be quickly fitted or dropped off during a break in combining, and offers the increased comfort of looking forward at the cutting head rather than backwards.

Bomford also added 6.5m reach versions of its Falcon and Hawk hedge cutters, designed to tackle more substantial three-year growth.
Both models feature an extending arm so can telescope back to 5.5m for verge work.
With its 125/min pump and 65hp head motor, the Falcon is aimed at the large farmer or contractor, while the Hawk is aimed more at general farm work.
And to boost safety, Bomford now offers a safety pack with head camera to avoid those embarrassing telegraph pole collisions, and a reversing audio warning system to alert other road users to manoeuvres.

By unlocking the export potential China offers the pig industry, not to mention the red meat sector as a whole, we could gain entry into a marketplace which comprises a fifth of the world’s population.
