With hilly land as the backdrop, most handlers sent left as it took the dogs around to the sheep at the top on a flat route. Those that went right had a blind out-run up and over a hill, so there was potential for the dog to get lost.

BROADWOOD International has expanded its range of Hustler bale dispensers with the SL350.This linkage mounted model is suitable for round and square bales and uses a hydraulically operated slat and chain set up to unroll the bale. For loading the operator simply pulls a rope to remove the bale cradle and release the integral bale spike.The bale is then placed on the platform and the cradle can be re-attached.
