As a leading land-based college there are many reasons as to why you should choose Hadlow College as the place to start your agricultural career. We run two commercial farms which comprise dairy, arable, sheep, poultry and pigs as well as farm shops and a consortium of dairy farmers. If you study with us you will spend some time in the classroom, but could also be involved in lambing, shearing and showing cattle at an agricultural show.

Located in the Kent countryside on a 256 hectare estate, Hadlow College offers a range of different qualifications from those designed for school pupils through to full honours degrees. We were one of the first colleges to offer a degree in sustainable land management and continue to develop our courses so they remain relevant to today’s industry.

Recognising that the theoretical skills are no longer enough, and that employers now demand practical hands-on experience, all of our students are encouraged to take work placements within the industry. We structure our degree level programmes so as to allow students to also have a part-time job, thereby relieving some of the financial burden. We assist all students in finding their work placements and work closely with employers to ensure our qualifications remain relevant.

All of the above take advantage of the fantastic facilities on-site including 10 acres of landscaped gardens, equestrian facilities which are listed in the London 2012 Pre-Games Training Camp Guide and a dedicated animal management unit.
